The Journey in Fort Collins, CO
The Journey consists of three figures on natural rocks approximately 3 feet in height. The sculpture, including the rocks, is 11.5 ft tall, 10 feet wide, and 3 feet deep. It is located at the Larimer County, Longview Behavioral Health Facility in Fort Collins, CO.
The first figure lights the way with a working lantern, and the second figure is helping the third figure up onto the rock.
Lorri created The Journey as a reminder that all of us have been in the position of each of the figures at some point in our lives, and we will all be there again.
It reminds us that there is no stigma attached to needing help. We all do sometimes. Everyone. And we are all in a position to help someone sometimes or shine a light. We just have to do what we can from where we are to help each other on this journey of life.
